Privacy
What this app collects regardless of configuration
These are properties of how the app is built, not choices made per deployment.
- Sign-in identity. Authentication is delegated to GitHub. When you sign in, the app receives your name, email address and avatar from GitHub. No password is created or stored here.
- Error reports. When something breaks, a report is sent to our error-tracking provider so it can be fixed. Sentry receives technical error details only; bill names, amounts, notes, and email contents are not sent in error reports.
- Usage analytics — only if you agree. Nothing is collected and nothing is stored in your browser until you accept. Declining is the default state.
- Consent records. If you enable analytics, the app records your choice and the notice version shown to you.
We do not collect payment cards, bank credentials, bank connections, advertising profiles, or sell your information. Notes stay in Convex and are never included in reminder emails.
Your choices
You can change your analytics choice at any time. It is a per-browser setting.
What this app collects
Reminder emails contain bill names, amounts, due dates, and whether each bill is overdue or coming due. They do not contain bill notes. Postmark receives the recipient address and those reminder details to deliver the message. Turn off email reminders at any time in Profile; doing so stops overdue notices without deleting your bills.
How long it is kept
Data remains until you delete your account. Deleted data may remain in Convex backups for up to 14 days; delivered emails remain in your mailbox and Postmark logs under Postmark's retention policy.
Your rights, and how to exercise them
You can edit your bills, export your data, or delete your account in Settings. Contact support if you cannot access Settings.
